The tax benefit for the employee is equal to the percentage of wage tax paid by the employee. In most cases this percentage is between 40% and 49.5%.

The last application date is the 20th of each month. Your company fitness subscription will start on the 1st of the following month if your employer has approved your application. A subscription after the 20th will start one month later.

If you are already using the sports location of your choice then you can check this box at the end of the registration process (already a member), your current subscription will automatically be converted into a company-fitness subscription so you can immediately enjoy the benefits. In that case you do not have to pay any registration and/or administration costs again at the sports location.

PLEASE NOTE: a new contract with a fixed period will start after your current subscription has been converted to a company-fitness subscription.

No, you have to pay these additional costs directly to the sports location.

Private discounts and/or promotions expire when you take a company-fitness subscription. However, through your employer you will always benefit from a considerable discount and ongoing discount! In most cases this discount is even higher.

Your sports location will receive a confirmation of your registration and will refund the amount you privately overpaid.

After your registration has been successfully completed, you will receive a confirmation that your application is being processed by your employer. As soon as your employer has reviewed and processed your application (for approval) you will receive an activation e-mail which you can use to activate and manage your personal Company-Fitness account. Your application has already been processed by then. You do not need to take any further action. Your selected sports centre will also be notified of your registration.

No, you have entered into a subscription for a fixed contract period. For this reason it is not possible to cancel. After this fixed period it is possible to cancel your subscription any month. When cancelling your subscription, you must allow for a full calendar month' notice. Your subscription will end on the last calendar day of the month.

You can cancel by logging in via benefitsplein.benvitaal.nl. With your contract details you will find the link www.benvitaal.nl/afmeldenabonnement. If you are unable to log in, please send an email to bedrijfsfitness@benvitaal.nl. benVitaal will then send an account activation email with which you can activate your benVitaal account. Please note: your subscription is permanently terminated if you have received a confirmation with the end date of your contract

No, the rates may be indexed annually by the location (CBS indexing)

No, you have to notify benVitaal of your cancellation at all times. Your subscription will only end definitely when you receive a confirmation from benVitaal. A cancellation that your sports location has been notified of, and processed and confirmed at the sports location will not be processed retroactively by benVitaal.

No, your company-fitness subscription will be renewed automatically. From that moment on your subscription can be cancelled in any month with 1 calendar month’ notice.

If you leave your employment, your company-fitness subscription will be terminated on the last day of the calendar month. You will receive information from BenVitaal about the possibilities to convert your subscription to a Fit-with-Discount subscription. After conversion you will receive a monthly discount on the subscription rate. The condition for converting your subscription is that your sports location offers these discounted rates at BenVitaal. If this is not the case, you will have to continue the subscription at your location

Yes, you can in case of pregnancy, illness or during a stay abroad. The maximum period is 6 months. Suspension due to holidays is not possible. The end date of your contract will be moved back for the duration of the suspension. A suspension cannot have retroactive effect. You can submit a request via bedrijfsitness@benvitaal.nl. Remember to enclose a pregnancy statement or a medical certificate. You may black out any confidential information

Yes an upgrade is always possible! A downgrade is only possible when your contract period has expired or when the sports location agrees with the downgrade. You have to allow for a new fixed contract period.

Yes, you can after your contract period. Allow for the full calendar month’ notice period. In order to switch to another sports location you can send a request to bedrijfsfitness@benvitaal.nl.

Family members cannot use a company-fitness subscription together with you. A family subscription in the company-fitness variant cannot be entered into either. Your family members can use a Fit-with-Discount subscription. For more information please send an email to bedrijfsfitness@benvitaal.nl.

Within this participation, a reduction of the gross salary takes place. The employer will reduce the gross salary per month by the subscription amount. Employee declares to be aware of the following consequences that may occur as a result of participation in company fitness: a reduction of the salary within the framework of the social insurance laws such as WIA and WW; a reduction of the salary within the framework of the Health Insurance Act; a reduction of the basis for the calculation of the exemption from working hours; a reduction of the income within the framework of income-related subsidies such as rent subsidy/contribution towards study costs; a reduction of the basis for vacation allowance and end-of-year bonus. Employee agrees to the conditions applicable to the company fitness scheme. Employee participates in the employer's offered company fitness scheme and during participation can make use of the facilities and activities offered by the sports location. Participation is automatically settled via the salary slip.

 Regulations and Conditions of Company Fitness

To participate in the company fitness scheme you agree to the following conditions: Employee and employer declare that they have agreed as follows: employer provides employee with the opportunity to participate in the company fitness employment condition. The objective of company fitness is an additional employment condition for employees, under the condition as described in the Law on Wage Tax Art. 29 of the Implementation Regulation, through which the fitness facility offered by the employer can be provided untaxed.

When registering, the house and behavioral rules of the sports location also apply. The company fitness subscription is only for employees. If you sign up for the company fitness scheme as a member of the sports provider, you are familiar with the fact that participation in company fitness is contracted for a specific period and applies from the 1st of the month indicated.

You can cancel by logging into your benVitaal account under the option contract and by filling out the link unsubscribe. The cancellation must be received by us 1 calendar month before the contract expiration date. If the subscription is not cancelled in time, the membership will automatically change to a subscription for an indefinite period of time, with a notice period of 1 calendar month.

Mutations such as change of address, switching sport locations, leaving your employer, changing your email address, can be sent to bedrijfsfitness@benvitaal.nl. 

No, your subscription will continue until further notice, taking into account a full calendar month's notice period.

You can apply using the link your employer received from us. This link can also be used for resident family members. If you have not received this link, please contact at fitmetkorting@benvitaal.nl or on 043-3068066. 

The sports centre determines the discounted rates. These rates can be found on www.fitmetkorting.nl through the option 'Find your Sports Provider' and then enter the location where you want to practice sports. The sports centres offering a discount will then be displayed

Yes you can; if you are already a member of the Sports Centre, please check the box 'already a member' during the registration process. Your current membership will then be terminated by the sports centre. The Fit-with-Discount subscription (Dutch: Fit met Korting) will start at the 1st of the following month. Any registration fees will no longer be charged. Please note that by signing up for a Fit-with-Discount subscription, a new contractual period starts, depending on the selected rate.


The latest registration date is the last day of the month to start on the 1st of the following month. The sports centre will receive the confirmation of registration as soon as the registration is processed. However, please note that when registering at the end of the month, the registration may not be processed by the sports centre immediately.

PLEASE NOTE: if you select a Basic-Fit subscription, it is recommended to register no later than by the 24th of the month. This ensures that you receive the QR code for access on time from Basic-Fit. When registering after the 25th, you should allow for a few more days to receive the QR code. (The registrations are forwarded on the 25th).

No, these additional costs are always settled at the sports centre.

You pay the subscription fees to benVitaal by direct debit. You must give your consent for this during the registration process.

Yes, please contact your bank. We would like to point out that benVitaal is still entitled to claim the amount if the payment has not been made in error.

After your registration has been successfully completed, you will receive a confirmation stating that your registration is being processed. As soon as it has been approved and definitely processed, you will receive an activation email from us which you can use to activate and manage your personal Fit-with-Discount account. The sports centre you have selected will also be notified.

You can use a Fit-with-Discount subscription as a partner/family member if you live at the same address. The sports centre will be allowed to verify this.

No, a cancellation is only legally valid if it is requested through benVitaal. A cancellation requested at the sports centre and processed and confirmed by the sports centre will not be processed retroactively by benVitaal.

No, your Fit-with-Discount subscription is automatically renewed. Your subscription can be cancelled every month, allowing for a full calendar month' notice.

Yes, that is possible in case of illness, pregnancy or a long stay abroad. The maximum period for suspension is 6 months and will take place in consultation with the sports centre. Suspension due to holidays is not possible! The end date of your contract will be moved back for the duration of the suspension. Suspending with retroactive effect is not possible. In order to suspend your subscription please send an email to fitmetkorting@benvitaal.nl. Remember to attach the pregnancy statement, medical certificate or proof of residence abroad. You may black out any confidential details.

When you become a member of one of the sports providers through Fit met Korting you agree to the following terms.

Upon participation there will be a monthly direct debit for the subscription fees. For this you need to check the "I agree" box in the registration process.

The subscription fee will be debited monthly by bVbf BV as collection id: NL88ZZ744604630000 with the reference authorization Fitness abonnement.

If you do not agree with this debit you can have it reversed. Please contact your bank within eight weeks after debiting. Ask your bank for the conditions.

You also declare by signing to renounce pre-notification. I authorize bVbf BV until further notice to debit the monthly amount from my bank account.

If collection is not possible, or an instalment is wrongly reversed, bVbf BV is entitled to claim these amounts.

When registering, the house rules and rules of conduct of the sports location also apply. If you register for a Fit with Discount subscription as a member of the sports provider, you are familiar with the fact that participation is entered into for a certain period of time and applies from the 1st of the month indicated.
